If you want to learn more information about how to write the Constitution and Bylaws for your NMO then the first thing you want to do is to study the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws.

For countries with established medical student organizations that are looking to join IFMSA you probably already operate under a Constitution and Bylaws. You might want to study the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws and maybe make a few adjustments to your bylaws in order to make them more compatible with IFMSA. If your structure is working then there is no reason to change it that much; or, maybe you will want to make a lot of adjustments to your bylaws in order to make your medical student organization more compatible with IFMSA.

For countries that are building a brand new medical student organization for the purposes of joining IFMSA, we recommend that you study the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws and make them as similar as possible. In fact, many countries take the IFMSA Constitution and Bylaws and copy them exactly, making only a few adjustments based on the best needs for their NMOs. This is the easiest strategy for creating a Constitution and Bylaws for your new medical student organization. Writing a new Constitution and Bylaws for your organization without using the Constitution and Bylaws is acceptable, of course, but it is definitely not the easiest path.
