Gold Medaille d'Excellence for the "HIV/AIDS and Human Rights: Young People in Action" Kit.

The International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) is awarded by the International Human Rights Consortium for a joint honor with UNESCO, UNAIDS and the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation for the Gold Medaille d'Excellence 2002 in the category HIV/AIDS media in recognition of the Kit "HIV/AIDS and Human Rights: Young People in Action". The Kit proposes a series of ideas for youth action on human rights and HIV/AIDS. It has been prepared in close
consultation with young people from various youth organizations. It is also available in French, Russian and Spanish. Upcoming activities on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights that will be implemented by IFMSA in 2002 are training workshops in Cameroon and Kyrzygstan, and training sessions during the 20th World Scout Jamboree in Thailand.
