These are my first words in the new IFMSA year 2005-2006, being member of team of officials as your publications director. I hope you can spare a minute of your busy schedule of Medicine and IFMSA and read them.

As you already noticed, this issue of eVAGUS is skinny, the reason is definitely not that IFMSA had no news or activities, but in contrary IFMSA in August and September was hyperactive!

Every year during these hectic months, after the summer GA, the IFMSA starts handover between the old and new teams of officials - it's the only time of the year where more than 60 students work for IFMSA. Also during the same period, most of NMOs have elections and new fresh national boards take over everywhere. You can find the newly elected officials of IFMSA on page 4.

Other than the projects ,members, and other new stuffs adopted in AM2005,you can find the latest policy statements on pages 2 and 3.I feel they are overlooked, though enforcing IFMSA role as international forum for medical students - you can send us your opinion about them.

This issue of eVAGUS is setting the steps that IFMSA has just taken in its latest GA meeting - the final steps of a long year of hard work of IFMSA worldwide. But what the new people, whether IFMSA officials or NMOs boards, are doing? that what would the eVAGUS bring to you in its next issues.
