Regionalisation is a common phenomena in a high number of Non-Governmental Organisations. The main reason why regional division of SCORP has been introduced is for the convenience of organising regional projects and training programs, since countries in the same region often share common health priorities and confront with similar problems. Regionalisation is not aiming to increase bureaucracy and create new regional organisations,
but, for the convenience of a development of SCORP-groups in different regions around the world. There are five regions in SCORP and IFMSA. They are:
